Imagine walking back home from school under a dark bridge. On 23rd June 2022, Streetchildtalks team got a chance to visit a Muslim community in Soi Nimit Mai 50 Alley. We met a child, in which he told us about the brutal route he has to take every single day. The path consists of long narrow pieces of concrete sheets joining together and both sides were full of garbage. His mom said that it gives her anxiety every time they have to come back home late at night as it might be unsafe for her and the children. It is impossible to know what’s in front of them. Not only does this family use the route, but also almost everyone in the community as it is the fastest way to cross to the other side.
